My English Teacher
Since I was a kid, my mom always asked me to follow whatever my teacher said because in her opinion, teachers are always right. My role model is my secondary school English teacher, Miss Airene Umat Jana. She taught us in English subject for 3 years from form 3 to form 5. She used to be our form teacher too.
The great thing about her is she never give us a lot of pressure in learning which make us really enjoyed her class. She also always taught us interestingly when learning English. For example, we learn about aromatherapy that day and she bring along her Body Shop essential oil, a burner and a diffuser. She lit the candle and shared the peacefulness smell with us while learning the topic. It's such a fun way to learn about we are not primary school anymore.
The most memorable time is when she mention that it's my birthday to my classmate and they all sang a birthday song especially to me. It's the sweetest thing that she did which make me remember the most.
Last December, she got into hospital and it really shocked me. I did went for a visit and i really worried about her when I need to follow some procedure before meet her. She lost a lot of weight and she show me her tiny legs, no more chubby legs. She said she lost her appetite but still I bought some bun for her and hope that she will take a bite. Thank God everything went well after that and now, I think she went back to her normal life.
The way she treat us like her siblings or even her friend which make us so close to her and feel that she really important to us too. I did teach my students the way she taught my student the interesting way like she taught us and it's fun. I also learn to pat more attention to every single one of my student, so that they can feel the warmth from me. We also did sang birthday song every time when there is one of my student birthday. She will always be my role modal.
